Art is more than just a job

Owner and Lead Artist, Corey Beth Mullins was born and raised in Galveston, Texas. She was fortunate enough to be raised in a family that constantly encouraged and nurtured artistic creativity and expression. Both her mother and father received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and continuously nurtured their children’s passion for art and expression. Not only are her parents gifted in the arts – her older sister is a photographer and videographer, and her younger brother is a talented musician. It is evident the Mullins family were destined to be involved in the arts.

Corey Beth has a natural affinity towards the Gulf Coast and tropical flora and fauna. She fell in love with the process of painting; how the canvas changes and transforms with each layered addition of pigment. She has been a professional artist since 2011. In 2012, she received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Applied Design and Visual Arts with a concentration in Studio Painting from the University of Houston Clear Lake.

She is currently the Mobile Manager and Instructor/Assistant at Pinot’s Palette in Houston, Texas. On the weekends, you can often find her working as a vendor at Shop Local Markets around Houston. Previously, she was the Lead Artist with Enhanced Space, a mural and design company based out of Austin, Texas.

She is available for various freelance artistic projects, including commissions, murals, live paintings at events, and art installations. Not only does Corey Beth have a passion for her art, but she takes pride in helping others cultivate their artistic abilities. She is available to provide painting lessons at any level.

Previously, Mullins has been recognized as Artist of the Month in Galveston Monthly. Her design and murals in the women’s restroom of Weathered Souls Brewing Co. in San Antonio were recognized and featured in The Current’s Best Restrooms of San Antonio.
